Sending eCards is really easy. First the fun part, you get to look through the library until you find you one that suits your fancy. To preview the video eCards just click the thumbnail image and the video will play. If you want to send it simply click “Personalize and Send”.
On the Personalize Your eCard page simply fill out the forms as explained below:
TO: Enter the email addresses of each of the recipients. (If you're a member, you can use your Black Book to add the recipient.).
FROM: Enter your complete email address (for example, anyone@Digital-Inbox.com).
Message: Enter your personal message. The message can be as long as you want.
Send eCard: Click here to send the eCard… duh!. If you did everything right you should see a page that tells you that your eCard was sent. |

eCards are usually sent out as soon as you send them. After your eCard is sent, we will send you a confirmation e-mail to let you know that it went out okay. The e-mail contains a link you can use to view the eCard that you just sent.
When your recipient "picks up" the item you sent, we will bug you with another email to let you know they viewed it.

So the bad news is once you send out an eCard there isn’t a way to cancel it. The good news is we definitely want to hear about any fallout that results from that email you wanted to cancel. So please drop us a line with all the juicy details.
If you are a member and your eCard was scheduled for a future delivery date using Reminders, you can visit the Reminders section and cancel, edit, or reschedule it. |

We provide recipients with three viewing options (see below). If you have difficulty viewing videos or hearing sound, please see our troubleshooting tips for help.
- Click on the URL (address) you received in the email notification we sent you.
The address looks like this: http://www.digital-inbox.com /view.pd?i=224408999&m=2265.
- Alternatively, you can copy and paste the URL (address) into the long, white address bar at the top of your browser window.
One thing to remember is that Digital-Inbox.com mail notifications do not contain attachments of any kind. They will only contain hyperlinks, which directs recipients to a web page in order to view the eCard that was created for them. If you ever receive an eCard with an attachment, I’m guessing we didn’t send it and you shouldn’t open it. Go ahead and delete the email message that carries the attachment; be sure that you do not open the attachment… Curiosity killed the cat! |
